New Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept. 30 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) Control Commission Chairman Dr K Narayana on Tuesday called upon the Central Government to take immediate steps to resolve the Ladakh issue through meaningful dialogue and consultation with all stakeholders.

In a statement here, he said the ongoing tension and administrative uncertainty in Ladakh were adversely impacting the livelihood and democratic rights of the people. He stressed that the Centre must ensure constitutional safeguards, environmental protection, and a fair representation for the region's residents.
