Hyderabad, Nov. 27 -- The CPI has rescheduled its grand centenary public meeting, earlier planned for December 26 in Khammam, to January 18, 2026.
CPI State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao said the change was approved at the party's state executive meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Hyderabad District Secretary Stalin.
The centenary event is expected to draw nearly five lakh participants from across the country.
Kunamneni said large-scale arrangements and a series of nationwide programs are underway under the supervision of the national leadership.
The party also announced a strategic understanding with the Congress for the upcoming Gram Panchayat elections.
