Thiruvananthapuram, June 7 -- CPI Rajya Sabha MP P Sandosh Kumar has written to the President of India relating to the recent controversy over displaying of a photo of Bharat Mata carrying a flag used by RSS in its functions at an event held at Raj Bhavan.
In his letter, the CPI MP has expressed concern over the Governor's unilateral decision to display a particular version of the Bharat Mata image during the Environment Day event at the Raj Bhavan in Kerala - without any consultation with the elected state government.
This led Kerala Agriculture Minister P. Prasad to boycott the function.
