Narayanpur, Sept. 5 -- CPI Rajya Sabha MP P. Santosh Kumar today condemned the reported harassment of nuns from Kerala in Durg district, calling it "a blot on democratic values" and demanding immediate accountability.

During his visit to Narayanpur, Kumar also voiced concerns over atrocities on tribals and minorities, alleged corruption in government schemes, and the continuing toll of Maoist violence on local communities.

Kumar demanded strict implementation of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, stressing that vulnerable groups must be shielded from recurring injustice.
