Patna, Aug. 12 -- The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) CPI(ML) has strongly criticised the Election Commission (EC), accusing it of turning a blind eye to serious grievances raised by opposition parties regarding the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar.

CPI(ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya alleged that, despite the party formally submitting multiple complaints on its official letterhead, the Election Commission has claimed that "no political party has lodged any complaints."
