Hyderabad, May 24 -- The CPI(M-L) Janashakthi Central Committee demanded that the Central government declare ' cease fire' unconditionally and come forward to peace talks by withdrawing the ' Kagar Operations' immediately in Chhattisgarh.

In a statement here on Saturday, the Committee said that the peace talks had earlier been proposed by Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister, Adivasi JAC, and the peace committee headed by retired High Court justice Chandra Kumar.
