Madurai, April 4 -- The 24th National Congress of the CPI(M) on Friday adopted
a resolution condemning the passage of Waqf (Amendment) Bi, 2025 in Parliament
and called upon all the secular forces to fight against this.
A resolution to this effected was adopted at the Congress soon after it was passed
by the Parliament this evening, also demanded it complete withdrawal.
It said the Bill will lead to increase in clashes among divisive forces and endanger the
secular fabric of the country.
It said the Bill would affect the autonomy of the Waqf Boards and went against the
interests of the Muslim community.
