New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- The Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Monday sharply criticised the Modi-led BJP government for what it called a "disgraceful" and "pro-US" response to the United States' military action in Venezuela, including the abduction of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, accusing New Delhi of abandoning India's long-standing commitment to national sovereignty and international law.
