Kannur, Dec. 31 -- CPI(M) leader and former Dharmadam MLA, K K Narayanan, passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday. He was 77.
Narayanan collapsed while attending an interaction with the school students at a National Service Scheme (NSS) camp, at Mundalur LP School campus, Peralassery in the morning. He was immediately rushed to the nearby private hospital and later shifted to a private hospital at Chala in Kannur town, where he passed away at around 17:50.
He was 77 and is survived by his wife, Susheela and two children. He was born to Kannan V K and Mathu of Peralassery on February 15, 1948.
