Thrissur, Aug. 10 -- CPI(M) general Secretary MA Baby today alleged that over 30,000 names have been added to the voters' list in the Thrissur Parliamentary constituency, represented by Union Minister Suresh Gopi, and demanded an explanation from the Election Commission.
Speaking to the media in Thrissur, Mr Baby directly accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of engaging in such malpractice, claiming that non-residents were illegally included in the voters' list by using closed houses and vacant flats as cover addresses.
