New Delhi, Jan. 3 -- : The Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Saturday strongly condemned what it described as a "blatant act of US aggression" against Venezuela, accusing Washington of bombing multiple sites in the Latin American country as part of a larger strategy aimed at enforcing regime change.
In a press statement issued by its Polit Bureau, the CPI(M) said the recent military action exposed the "real face" of the US National Security Strategy 2025, announced in early December last year.
"For the last few weeks the U.S. has mobilised its military and naval forces around Venezuela in order to enforce regime change," the statement said.
