Hyderabad, Oct. 23 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao has urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to immediately release the arrears owed to retired government employees in Telangana.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister, Sambasiva Rao highlighted that around 12,000 state employees who retired since March 2024 have not received their retirement dues even after 18 months.

He emphasised that the delay has left many families in severe financial distress, making it difficult for them to meet basic obligations.
