Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 22 -- CPI State Executive Committee member Rajaji Mathew Thomas has accused the Election Commission machinery in Kerala of grave procedural failures in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, warning that the flawed exercise could strip lakhs of citizens of their voting rights.
He also rejected the Chief Electoral Officer's (CEO) claim that his and his wife's names were already included in the voter list.
