Patna, Jan. 19 -- The Communist Party of India (CPI) today demanded registration of a case under the POCSO Act against those responsible in the Shambhu Girls Hostel incident in Patna, a CBI inquiry into the matter and Rs 1 crore as compensation to the victim's family.
A state-level CPI delegation met the victim's family at their native village Patiyama in Jehanabad district and shared their grief.
CPI State Secretariat member Surendra Saurabh said here that the victim's father and brother told the delegation that the family is still receiving threats.
