Hyderabad, Dec. 3 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) National Control Commission Chairman Dr K Narayana has called for the immediate removal of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan from the state cabinet, alleging that the Jana Sena chief is unfit to hold office.
In a video statement released on Wednesday, Dr Narayana accused Pawan Kalyan's recent remarks of creating divisions between the people of the two Telugu states and disturbing the unity that has persisted despite the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
He pointed out that social and cultural ties continue to bind Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, recalling that Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's daughter is married into a family from Bhimavaram.
