Warangal, April 29 -- CPI Telangana Assistant Secretary Takkallapalli Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday questioned delays in providing housing plots to the poor and urged the government to allot house sites and construct 'Indiramma' houses for slum dwellers.
Addressing a gathering at GK Function Hall near Gavicherla Cross, he said many poor families have been waiting for years for housing and basic support.
He stressed that their issues must be addressed without further delay.
The event also witnessed around 400 families from various political parties in the Lakshmipuram area joining the CPI. Srinivasa Rao welcomed them into the party.
