Lucknow, May 12 -- The CPI (ML) has raised strong objections to the notification issued by the union Ministry of Rural Development on Monday (May 11) regarding the implementation of the new employment guarantee law, VB-GRAMG.
According to the notification, the new law will come into effect on July 1 and will replace the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
CPI ( ML) State Secretary Sudhakar Yadav said here in a statement on Tuesday that the BJP government was waiting for the assembly election results of five states to implement this new law.
