Kaithal, Dec. 30 -- In a joint action of cow protection team and police against cow slaughter, they have together foiled an attempt to smuggle cattle that were allegedly taken away by smugglers from an overturned vehicle a few days ago.
According to the information, at around 12:30 am on December 28, Cow Protection Team Kaithal received information that bulls and cows were being illegally transported from Punjab to Mewat in a four-wheeler number DL1LAQ 2443.
Upon receiving the information, the Cow Protection Team Kaithal started blockade on Khanauri Road Bypass. Meanwhile, signal was given to stop the vehicle but the driver tried to drive away the vehicle at high speed. The team chased the vehicle and intercepted it near the underpass.
