Jammu, March 26 -- Taking strict actions against the violators of prohibitory orders issued by the Government under section 144 CrPC Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday registered 38 FIRs against the offenders and seized 547 number of shops and vehicles for defying the restrictions in view of COVID-19.
Till Wednesday 218 FIRs were lodged against the offenders.
In Udhampur Reasi range, one FIR was registered. JK Police also registered three FIRs in Rajouri Poonch range.
Besides registering FIRs 547 number of vehicles and shops have been seized so far by the Jammu Kashmir Police for defying the government order's.
