Mumbai, June 25 -- The number of Covid cases in Maharashtra has started slowing down since its peak in May and early this month, as 25 new patients have been found in the state in last 24 hours.
A total of 2,395 Covid patients have been found and 33 deaths have been recorded in the state since this year.
The state Health officials said today that the number of Covid patients in the state was increasing in May and early June. Due to this, the daily number of patients in the state had reached 100 between June 11 and 13.
After that, the number of patients decreased by almost half from June 14. Since then, the rate of increase in corona infection has been low.
