Mumbai, May 31 -- Covid-19 has resurfaced in Maharashtra's Satara district, prompting renewed caution from health authorities.

Two patients are currently receiving treatment: a 70-year-old woman in critical condition on a ventilator at Kranti Singh Nana Patil District Hospital, and a 40-year-old man with a stable condition at Sahyadri Hospital in Karad, Health authorities conformed.

The elderly woman, already battling complications from a stroke, was admitted in a severe state, while the male patient reportedly has no underlying health issues and is showing signs of improvement, according to Dr. Yuvraj Karpe.
