Hyderabad, Sept. 29 -- With 2,072 new Coronavirus positive cases recorded in Telangana up to 2000 hours on Monday, the state's COVID-19 count has risen to 1,89,283 till date.
After a gap of two days, the positive cases again spiked to 2,000 plus as the drop in the cases on Sunday and Monday was due to dip in the COVID-19 tests during the weekend.
The COVID-19 deaths climbed to 1,116 as nine more patients had succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours constituting a case fatality rate of 0.58 per cent as against the countrywide mortality rate of 1.57 per cent, a state health department bulletin said on Tuesday.
In all, 2,259 patients had recuperated from Coronavirus during the last 24 hours pushing the total number of recoveries...
