Guwahati, Sept. 23 -- As the COVID 19 cases in Assam continued to increase, the state government today launched awareness campaigns across districts to ensure adherence to safety and health protocols to check further spread of the virus.

In Kamrup (Metro) district, which has the highest number of cases, an awareness rally was taken out from the deputy commissioner's office.

Several ASHA workers and employees of the district Health office participated in the rally.

A free-of-cost antibody testing camp was also organized in the DC office premise on the occasion, with Kamrup (M) DC Biswajit Pegu, among others, taking the test to determine the presence of COVID 19 antibodies in their blood.
