Aurangabad, April 11 -- Eight districts of Maharashtra's Marathwada region registered 7,323 more cases of COVID-19 and 90 virus related fatalities during the past 24 hours, health authorities told media here on Sunday.

Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI show that out of the eight districts of the region, Aurangabad was worst affected, it recorded the highest number of positive cases ie 1,413 and 32 deaths, followed by Nanded with 1650 new cases and 27 deaths, Parbhani registered 845 new cases and 13 deaths, Jalna had 523 cases and eight deaths, Beed had 735 cases and five deaths, Latur had 1404 cases and two deaths, Hingoli had 195 cases and two deaths and Osmanabad had 564 cases and a single death.
