Bengaluru, March 26 -- Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Thursday instructed all district authorities to strictly enforce the 21-day lockdown called by PM Narendra Modi.

Addressing the district officials, over a video conference, Yediyurappa said that people violating the lockdown rules dealt with severe actions.

He further directed officials to ensure that all district borders are sealed, particularly emphasising on Kasargod.

Yediyurappa directed district authorities to report problem if any to the notice of Chief Secretary. He also added that the closure was not applicable to private clinics across the state.
