Mumbai, April 1 -- A Designated TADA(Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act court here has ordered that 14 property belonging to Tiger Memon, one of the alleged masterminds of the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, and his family be handed over to the Central government.

Designated Judge V D Kedar passed an order on a application filed by the Competent Authority, SAFEMA/NDPS, for release of property in it's favour pursuant to the forfeiture of property under Section 7 of the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulator's Act, 1976 .

These property were in possession of the Bombay High Court's receiver since 1994 following an order of the TADA court. The 14 property include a flat in a building in Bandra (West), anoffice on Mohamm...
