Mumbai, Dec. 26 -- A sessions court in neghbouring Palghar district granted interim bail to a school teacher after she was arrested in connection with the death of a 13-year-old student, Anshika Gaud, who was allegedly forced to do 100 sit-ups as punishment.
While granting bail to accused Mamta Yadav, the court imposed several conditions which include not to hamper any probe, tamper with evidence and meet the girl's parents or relatives.
In its order made avilable on Friday the court noted that the final medical opinion on the cause of death is still awaited and granted Yadav interim bail.
