Patna, Sept. 19 -- A special court today awarded 13 years of rigorous imprisonment to two men accused of heroin trafficking under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The Special judge also slapped a fine of Rs 2 lakh each on the accused - Bablu Sah and Pramod Kumar - found guilty under various sections of the NDPS Act. The court further stated that in case of non-payment of the fine, the convicts will have to undergo an additional six months of imprisonment.
