Srinagar, Jan. 24 -- A Delhi Court has allowed jailed Member of Parliament Abdul Rashid Sheikh aka Engineer Rashid to attend Parliament session on custody parole, Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) said on Saturday.
The party welcomed the order of the Patiala House Courts, Delhi, allowing Member of Parliament from Baramulla, Engineer Rashid, to attend the upcoming Budget Session of Parliament starting from January 28, subject to the conditions imposed earlier.
In a statement issued here, AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi said that the Court of the Additional Sessions Judge, Prashant Sharma, Patiala House Courts, Delhi, today granted permission to Engineer Rashid to attend the Parliament session on custody parole.
