Barabanki (UP), April 28 -- An elderly couple was killed, and their son and daughter were injured when a car fell into a village pond in Haidergarh area of Barabanki district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place when Jitendra Pratap Singh (58), a resident of Jagdishpur police station in Amethi district, along with his wife Anju Singh (55), son Ayush Singh (28) and daughter-in-law Shweta Singh (27) was going to Lucknow for treatment in his car.
