Kolkata , Aug. 19 -- Police have arrested a couple in connection with the late-night explosion that killed a 25-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh outside Madhyamgram High School in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
The deceased, identified as Sacchidananda Mishra, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, is suspected to have been in an extra-marital relationship with the woman.
Investigators believe he allegedly came to Madhyamgram with the intention to kill her husband but died when the explosive device he was carrying went off accidentally.
According to police reports, "Mishra had met the woman on social media, and the two developed a romantic relationship."
