Sangli, Sept. 10 -- Three persons, including an elderly couple and their grandson, were killed and four others were seriously injured, in an accident near Tasgaon town of this district, on Bhilwadi road, this evening.
According to Tasgaon police, the elderly couple and their grandson were returning to Kakadwadi village after meeting their relatives by two-wheeler, when a speeding car collided head-on with their two-wheeler.
In this incident, the couple and their grandson were killed on the spot while four others from the car, were seriously injured, and admitted to the civil hospital.
