Hyderabad, Feb. 12 -- The Telangana State Election Commission (SEC) on Thursday announced that counting of votes for the municipal elections will be held on February 13, from 0800 hours at designated counting centres across the State.
In a statement, the SEC said that required counting supervisors and assistants have been appointed and adequate security arrangements put in place to maintain peace and order.
Prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) will be in force in and around counting centres. Entry into counting halls will be strictly regulated, with only counting staff, candidates, election agents and counting agents allowed with valid passes.
