Jammu, Feb. 9 -- In a major breakthrough, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have nabbed one drug peddler with cocaine worth crores in the Bari Brahmana area of Samba district.
The recovery took place following the seizure of counterfeit currency on a complaint lodged by a banker.
The Police spokesman here said that an accused was arrested with counterfeit currency amounting to Rs 9000, which subsequently led to the recovery of approximately 1937.80 grams of cocaine worth Rs 19.37 crores in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana.
The spokesman added that on February 3, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Bari Brahmana by the Manager, Punjab National Bank, Branch Bari Brahmana, regarding the depositing of fake currency no...
