Hyderabad, Sept. 20 -- Ahead of the 2025-26 cotton marketing season, Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao today said that the procurement of cotton will commence in October.
He held a review meeting with senior officials of the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) to finalize procurement arrangements.
The meeting discussed cotton production trends, MSP implementation, payments to farmers, transport issues, digitisation, farmers' registration, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
