Lucknow, March 21 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that corruption is at its peak in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Uttar Pradesh.
In a statement issued here, Akhilesh said, "An entire gang of extortion and loot is operating under the protection of the government. Looting is going on in every department. There is a connivance of the main people of the government and many officers in this extortion and corruption. This is the truth of the ease of doing business in UP."
