Dharashiv, Aug. 30 -- Maharashtra's revered Tuljabhavani Temple has once again landed in controversy, with allegations of corruption rocking the temple's priest committee.
Former president of the priest committee, Kishor Gangane, has accused the current body of indulging in corrupt practices and has demanded that the committee be dissolved. He has also urged the Charity Commissioner to take strict action and register criminal cases against the present office-bearers.
In response, current president Vipin Shinde dismissed the charges, claiming that Gangane was making allegations at the behest of vested interests.
