Chennai, Sept. 2 -- CORE Energy Systems Ltd and Flowserve Corporation today said that they have entered into a strategic collaboration to manufacture Primary Coolant Pumps (PCP) in India.

The localisation of this manufacturing work signifies a major advancement in India's capacity to independently build, operate, and expand its civil nuclear fleet.

This collaboration has been formalised by the Flowserve and CORE Energy leadership in a signing ceremony in Washington, DC, in front of officials from the US Department of Energy and the Indian Embassy, underscoring the strategic importance of US-India civil nuclear cooperation.
