Nagpur, March 24 -- Two mobile phones and two sim cards have been recovered from a jail in Karnataka's Belagavi, after a person made threat calls to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's office here , a senior police official told UNI on Friday.

The Nagpur police with the help of their Belagavi counterparts searched the premises of Hindalga Central Jail in the Karnataka where Jayesh Pujari is serving a life sentence.

Two mobile phones and as many sim cards were recovered from the jail premises, the official said.

It must be mentioned here that on Tuesday, three calls were made to Nitin Gadkari's PRO (public relations office) in Nagpur. And the caller, who identified himself as Jayesh Pujari alias Jayesh Kantha, demanded Rs 10 crore through UPI ...
