Bengaluru, Feb. 22 -- Coorg Hawks clinched the title at the seventh edition of the CHAIROS Bheemaiah Hockey Cup with a thrilling 7-5 victory over Pale Taluk in a high-octane final at the Field Marshal K. M. Cariappa Hockey Arena here on Sunday.
The summit clash capped three days of intense 5A-side action that saw 18 teams from across the country battle for supremacy in one of Karnataka's most vibrant grassroots hockey tournaments. The 5A-side format, known for its speed and relentless pace, ensured end-to-end contests, with Coorg Hawks holding their nerve in a goal-laden finale to lift the coveted trophy.
