Continue crackdown against drug traffickers in Sangli: Maha minister
Sangli, June 16 -- Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister, Chandrakant Patil, on Monday directed the police department to continue with their action against drug traffickers to curb menace of drug sale and consumption in the district.
While addressing the ninth meeting of Narcotics Task Force at district collector's office here, he said that the police department has been successful in creating a good deterrent against smugglers by taking action against drug sale and consumption in the district.
He directed that this deterrent effect of the new law should continue in future.
