Chennai, Aug. 21 -- Reiterating his charge that the 134th Constitutional Amendment Bill
introduced in Lok Sabha by Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday as a Black Bill, Tamil
Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin today said the DMK would strongly oppose
it as it how opposed the CAA and Waqf Amendment Bills.
Speaking after releasing books of late DMK strongman and former Minister K Rahman Khan at
DMK headquarters 'Anna Arivalayam' here, he said the Bill was aimed at taking the country to
the path of autocracy by using the Central Investigating Agencies to remove their opponents if
they were arrested and jailed for 30 consecutive days for serious offences.
