Kolhapur, Aug. 9 -- The consecration
process of the idol of Karveer Niwasini Shri Mahalaxmi Ambabai Devi will be done on August 11 and 12.
During this period, devotees will not be able to have darshan of the original idol, so the Kalash and Utsav idol have been placed inside the brass urn and the devotees have been allowed darshan of the same by the Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Management Committee.
In order to ensure that the idol of Shri Karveer Niwasini Shri Ambabai Devi is in good condition, the District Collector Kolhapur and Administrator Devasthan Management Committee, West Maharashtra, Kolhapur have been informing the Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi (Government of India) from time to time to inspect the idol.
