Shimla, Feb. 18 -- Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi on Wednesday asserted that the Congress party would secure victory in the upcoming Rajya Sabha election scheduled for March 16, citing the party's clear majority in the State Assembly.

Interacting with mediapersons in Shimla, Negi said that the Congress has 40 members in the 68-member unicameral House and is well positioned to win the lone Rajya Sabha seat falling vacant upon completion of the six-year term of BJP member Indu Goswami.
