Bhopal, Dec. 5 -- On the concludig day of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly's winter session, the opposition Congress accused the government of being anti-tribal in the context of logging operations (tree felling) in Singrauli district. The party later staged a walkout expressing dissatisfaction with the government's reply on the Panchayats (Extension to the Scheduled Areas) Act (PESA).
Through a calling attention notice, Vikrant Bhuria and Jaivardhan Singh (both Congress) raised the issue of logging operations for the Dhirauli coal mine project.
