Shimla, March 4 -- Political activity has intensified in Himachal Pradesh ahead of the March 16 Rajya Sabha elections, with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu asserting that his government would not allow a repeat of the 2024 cross-voting episode that led to the Congress losing the Upper House seat despite having a majority in the Assembly.
Speaking to media persons during Holi celebrations at Oak Over, the Chief Minister's official residence in Shimla, Sukhu declared that "democracy would not be allowed to be sold this time" he was reffering to upcoming Rajya Sabha poll.
