Jaipur, Oct. 7 -- Veteran Congress leader and former Minister Bharat Singh Kundanpur passed away at the SMS Hospital after a protracted illness.
A prominent leader of the Harauti-Kota region, Kundanpur (75) had been suffering from respiratory diseases.
He was treated at the Kota Medical College for a prolonged period.
In view of his declining health, he was referred to the SMS Hospital here about a month ago, where he breathed his last around 10:00 p.m. last night.
Born on August 15, 1950, in Kundanpur village under Sangod town of Kota district, the four-time ex-MLA began his political career at the grassroots level.
