Varanasi, Jan. 21 -- Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai and senior Maharashtra Congress leader and former state president Nana Patole offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Wednesday. After the darshan, Nana Patole launched a scathing attack on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Patole said that, "Mata Ahilyabai Holkar was from Maharashtra. She did significant work for the protection of Sanatan Dharma throughout the country. But we were prevented from going to the place where the idols were broken. A complete report on this will be submitted to Rahul Gandhi".
