Lucknow, Dec. 28 -- The Indian National Congress has announced the launch of a statewide public outreach initiative, titled "Samvidhan Samvaad", under which the party will organise 30 rallies across Uttar Pradesh within the next 100 days to raise public awareness about constitutional values and democratic rights.
Addressing a press conference at the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters here today, AICC General Secretary and UP in-charge Avinash Pandey said the programme is being launched at a time when the country is facing serious challenges such as inflation, unemployment, agrarian distress, and what he described as continuous attempts to weaken democracy and the Constitution.
