New Delhi, Nov. 16 -- After a crushing defeat in Bihar, the Congress is now formulating a strategy to corner the government on the issue of SIR and has called leaders from 12 states involved in the SIR 2.0 voter list revision process to Delhi.

The party has held the Election Commission responsible for its poor performance in Bihar. The Congress aims to reach out to the public with a fresh strategy on SIR, prompting the leadership to summon senior party leaders from SIR-affected states for consultations in the capital.
